The children at Bridgewater Park Primary School have recently enjoyed a French themed day in celebration of International Language Day which was on the 26th September. Every year group within the school has a French lesson once a week taught by French teacher Madame Lila. In partnership with school staff, Madame Lila arranged a day full of activities for the children to experience the French culture and language. Children dressed in red, white and blue and were treated to a French style lunch, baking French cakes, Matisse inspired art and participated in French songs and dances. This culminated in a well-attended assembly for parents to celebrate the fantastic work the children had produced throughout the day.
