Our Topic question is 'Would you rather live in England or Africa?' We will be focusing on Kenya and looking at African animals and cultures compared to our own.

Children will be looking at living things and their habitats. Children will work towards answering the question, 'Why would a dinosaur not make a good pet?' We will be heading to Chester Zoo for a closer look at animals and their habitats!

Children will be looking at an African artist called Martin Bulinya and recreating his work.

His work looks at African landscape using bright colours and dark figures. We will recreate this using charcoal and pastels.

This term we will be focusing on Christianity. Our first question  for the first half of the term is, 'Is it possible to be kind to everyone all of the time?' For this we will look at The Good Samaritan. Next, we will work together to answer the topic question 'Why did God give Jesus to the world?'

Singapore Maths

Children will continue to develop their mathematical understanding through the Singapore Maths approach which has proved successful.

For this term we will be looking at place value, addition and subtraction.
