This half term's learning!

Children will be learning key spelling, grammar, punctuation skills throughout the term alongside developing their writing composition.
This will be done through the use of Key Texts linked to our topic. This term our key texts are Rose Blanche and The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas.

This term children will be continuing with Singapore Maths. Children will be developing their knowledge of fractions, measurements and data handling.

Have we always looked like this?
This term we will be looking at the theory of evolution and how animals, including humans, have adapted to their environments.

How did the Battle of Britain change WWII?
This term we will be looking at WWII and focusing on the Battle of Britain and the Blitz.



Does belief in Akhirah (life after death) help Muslims lead good lives?

We will be looking in to the Muslim belief in Akhirah to continue our focus on how Muslims shown commitment to God from our topic in the Autumn term.


Henry Moore
Our artist this term is Henry Moore, we will be looking at the sculptures he created and then creating our own!
