Y6 Student Leaders

The Student Leaders are role models of our school values; they oversee all other Young Leader groups and work in collaboration to organise school events to continually develop our school community. The pupils are elected by the school staff and pupils, after making a pitch during a whole-school assembly. The pupils lead school tours for visitors, meet with governors and are called upon to be at the forefront of school life.

This academic year, our Student Leaders have launched initiatives to raise money for school events. The pupils helped to organise a whole-school Halloween disco, supported with School Council’s toy sale event, and sold tickets for an Easter-themed movie event. The proceeds of all these events have been used to fund other free Bridgewater Park family events, such as a Mother’s Day afternoon tea party and Father’s Day family breakfast.
